DiabeticRecipes (diabeticrecipes.us) is run by Keylink IT. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Email signups. If you sign up for the dinner plan or newsletter we store your email address, the date and the page you signed up from. We use it only to send what you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Contact messages. Your name, email and message, so we can reply.
• Recipe ideas. What you type into Suggest a recipe (the dish, your notes, a link, and your first name and city if you give them) plus your IP address to stop spam. We use it to decide what to make next and, only if you tick the box, to credit you by first name on the recipe. We do not ask for your email.
• Likes and views. When you open a recipe or tap Like, we count it so we know which recipes to film next. We store a one-way scrambled code made from your IP address and browser, never the address itself, so the same visit is not counted twice. No cookies.
• Your Recipe Box, shopping list and game streaks are stored in your own browser (local storage). They never reach our server, and clearing your browser data removes them.
• Server logs. Our host keeps standard logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

Advertising and analytics

We count visits with two cookieless tools so we can see which recipes people use: Cloudflare Web Analytics (run by Cloudflare, our network provider) and Umami, which we host ourselves. Neither sets cookies or builds a profile of you. They record the page, the referring site, your browser type and your general region.

We may use the Meta Pixel to measure our Facebook ads and to show our recipes to people who visited the site. Meta may use cookies to do this. You can control ad personalization in your Facebook settings.

Recipe finder

When you use What Can I Make?, the ingredients, meal choice and preferences you enter are sent to DeepSeek, an AI service, so it can pick recipes from our collection. We do not send your name, email or anything else about you. We keep what you entered, the recipes suggested and your IP address for up to a year to improve the tool and stop abuse. Please do not type health details or personal information into it.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your choices

To have your email or messages deleted, contact us through the contact page and we will remove them.
