Ingredients

Base

  • 1 cup 2% cottage cheese

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh blackberries
  • 3 strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon granulated monk fruit sweetener (optional)

Directions

  1. Divide the cottage cheese between two bowls, about 1/2 cup each.
  2. Top each bowl with half the raspberries, blackberries and strawberry slices.
  3. Sprinkle with the sliced almonds, chia seeds and cinnamon. Add a little monk fruit sweetener if your berries are tart.
  4. Serve right away.
Tip: Raspberries and blackberries carry about half the net carbs of blueberries cup for cup, so they are the best berries for stretching a snack.
Dad jokeMy cottage cheese bowl was feeling down, so I told it to cheer up and berry the past.
